
For over 10 years, The Shroom has been Burning Man's least best newspaper, providing hundreds of thousands of Burners with a reason to stay an extra few minutes in a 120 degree port-a-pottie. It's a job we take very seriously.
If this were a case study video we'd cite:
- Burning Man founder Larry Harvery calling The Shroom his 'favorite thing at Burning Man 2009.' (Seriously.)
- Increase in distribution from personal to a staff of delivery boys and girls. Some are even clothed.
- 3 permanent Shroom newspaper boxes at high foot traffic areas
- Printing increased from 500/year to 10,000/year
- Brand expansion to The Shroom: Lightning in a Bottle
But it's not a case study video, it's personal. Thank God.

In 2010, we created a Burning Man Zodiac, giving Burners a sign based on the first year that they attended.
The amazing Jaclyn Yuan supplied the deliciously ornate designs. The Shroom cannot confirm that anyone has gotten one of these as a tattoo.
